Signs of aging to look out for in your 30’s

Uncategorized / February 28, 2022

Your 30’s are an exciting time in your life, and your skin needs to be at the top of your priority. Your skin begins to age between the ages of 25 and 35. These are when the body reduces collagen and starts to lose its elasticity. There are different signs to look out for in your 30’s and slow down the process.

Signs of aging

1. Dry Skin: In your 30’s, your skin will begin to reduce the amount of oil it produces. The older we get, the more our body metabolism slows down. Our body no longer regenerates and turns over skin cells. Lifestyle, diet, and our environment are responsible for dry skin. In your 30’s, it is easy to notice your skin drying out quickly. It will require extra moisturizing and the application of other products to regain the healthy look and glow of your skin. The sebaceous gland becomes less active as we get older. The best solution for dry skin in your 30’s will be to moisturize more and avoid over-exfoliating the skin.

2. Saggy neck

Did you notice your jawline drop towards your neck in the mirror this morning? No need to panic. It’s normal for the body to begin to lose its firmness during your 30’s. If you have recently noticed a bulge in your jawline or wrinkles around the neck, it’s nothing to worry about.  It is only a natural aging process, weight can also play a role in it. You can moisturize your neck to smoother it out. Also it is advisable to apply your sunscreen around your neck. Applying a moisturizer is a natural way to make your neck look smooth and healthier.

3. Visible pores

Due to skin elasticity, the pores widen and become more visible. It’s also possible to notice that your skin becomes saggy in your 30’s. When you notice your pores become larger, it is best to hydrate your skin more. By flushing out toxins, you help your skin retain its elasticity. Exfoliate more and be gentle on your skin. Use a gentle cleanser on your face in the morning and afternoon. Make sure to use non-comedogenic products like shea butter to reduce visible pores. Apply sunscreen every day. There are no natural methods to shrink your pores but the tips above will help to make them appear less visible.

4. Redness

The skin starts to get easily irritated when you get older. You will notice skin inflammation in some areas of the skin between your 30’s and 40’s. Other times it appears as little red veins. These reactions can happen as a result of taking hot showers or being exposed to the sun for long hours. Oatmeal is a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient for your skin when you experience this redness. Cleanse your skin twice a day to avoid redness in the skin. Drink more green tea in your 30’s to look younger and avoid aging.

5. Wrinkles and fine lines

When you notice wrinkles and fine lines in your 30’s, it’s time to stay consistent with your skincare routine. Almost everyone has expression wrinkles as they get older. Static wrinkles around your forehead, cheeks and fine liners in the corners of your eyes are a sign of aging. By improving your skin texture, you get rid of these wrinkles and fine lines. Wear sunscreen, limit your intake of alcohol and quit some unhealthy lifestyle to improve the aging process naturally.

6. Dark circles

Can people tell how tired you look from your eyes or are you aging at 30? The fat around our eyes starts to shrink as we get older. Also while we age, our skin begins to thin and the blood vessels become more visible. This blood vessel is responsible for the dark circles under our eyes. It’s time to focus on products that contain Vitamin C. Also while moisturizing at night, pay attention to the dark circles.

Aging in the ’30s is a natural process. It is best to hydrate more, eat healthy meals, exercise your body and use the right skincare products.
